3 CHORD ENTERTAINMENT, INC.

3 Chord Entertainment, Inc. is an independent record label based out of Hendersonville, TN and currently serve as the exclusive management team for singer/songwriter Karla Davis.  Karla has a mission to change lives with her music and 3 Chord Entertainment, Inc. serves as the perfect support vehicle.

John Eden - Producer & Co-Manager

The greyer haired member of the 3 Chord Entertainment. Inc triangle was born just outside Manchester, England.  In his earlier years his musical passion landed him a studio job at London’s Marquee Studios.  At the age of 16 he became the assistant on sessions with producers such as Gus Dudgeon and Tony Visconti. In 1973 he was hired by music publisher and label boss Dick James, to manage the labels  “in house” recording facilities in West London. At a time when Dick owned the Lennon/McCartney catalogue Northern Songs was the label for Elton’s earlier catalogue it was an incredible environment to be in. Production was Eden’s goal, and after several years behind the console it was his association producing with Status Quo on the “Just Supposin” and “Never Too Late” albums that opened the door to a decade of successful projects including Graham Bonnets “Night Games” which he produced alongside Francis Rossi of Quo.  Following on CBS Records A&R head Muff Winwood invited Eden to produce the British band  “After The Fire” track “Der Kommisar” which became a Billboard #5.  On the heels of this hit it was a hop to Quebec, Canada to produce French Canadian artist Daniel Lavoie.  The EMI release in France of Lavoie's single “Ils S’aiment” resulted sales topping one million and success that enabled Eden to construct a residential studio in Suffolk, England.

Thanks to an earlier musical association with drummer/manager Kim Turner (Police/Sting), Turner suggested to Sting that he work with Eden as  producer of Stings new label signing percussionist Vinx . Contributors to Vinx’s album included Herbie Hancock, Bill Summers, and at that time a much in demand session singer, Sheryl Crow.

Eden later chose to take some well-deserved time off to spend with his family in Florida.  However, Eden’s passion to be surrounded  by creativity would soon lead him to Nashville, TN. Drawn entirely by listening to his heart one morning at his home in Florida, Eden announced to his wife that it was time to move to Nashville. There was no logic to this, no album to produce, just a belief that there was some reason that he and his family should move.

This “reason” turned out to be Karla Davis, who Eden met along with her Manager, Gabrielle DiMora, at a writers round at Dougie Ray’s in Hendersonville.  Eden says of Karla “I knew I wanted to work with her after 30 seconds. She is blessed with an incredible gift of voice, melody, and words which touched my heart deeply that night”. The relationship between Karla, Gabrielle, and John has grown tremendously and has now proven to be the perfect combination as they have, together, formed 3 Chord Entertainment, Inc. as a production, management and publishing house.

Gabrielle DiMora - Creative Director & Co-Manager

New York native, Gabrielle DiMora graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a bachelors degree in marketing in 2008.  After graduating she always had the  dream of working within the music industry, but had no real expectations to do so.  Then the opportunity of a lifetime arose when college friend, Karla Davis, asked Gabrielle to manage her.  When she was asked, she didn’t think twice; “I thought Karla had a very special talent...I knew her voice was different, and that she had a real chance at breaking into the industry.”

Karla and Gabrielle decided to take this journey together in 2009.  After seeing small glimpses of success, they knew this was what they were supposed to be doing.  Since then, Gabrielle began building Karla’s websites and social networks and booking shows wherever she could.  They eventually decided that Nashville was where they needed to be.  When they arrived in Nashville, they began meeting a lot of great people, one being British Producer, John Eden. After meeting John, they kept in contact and 3 Chord Entertainment, Inc was formed.
